Kyloe Legacy Kennels is a family-run, AKC-registered breeder located in Rockford, Michigan. Our story began over 40 years ago with my parents, who founded Kyloe Kennels on a small farm in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. Growing up surrounded by dogs, I developed a lifelong passion for raising and caring for these incredible animals.

Today, I proud to continue our family’s legacy, building on over three decades of breeding excellence. While I’ve had the pleasure of working with many breeds, including Dobermans, German Pinschers, Bouvier des Flandres, Chinese Cresteds, and Miniature Poodles, my heart and expertise remain with Wirehaired Pointing Griffons — a breed we are deeply committed to preserving and advancing for future generations at Kyloe Legacy Kennels.

My name is Wil Rankinen, and I had the privilege of growing up on our family’s farm, Kyloe Kennels, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It was there that I learned the art and dedication of dog breeding and AKC conformation from my parents, whose passion and commitment laid the foundation for our family’s legacy. Today, I am proud to carry that legacy forward with innovation and care through Kyloe Legacy Kennels.
